On September 17, the International Research Institute of Economics and Management (IRIEM) officially announced the selection results for its 2026 Second Half (2026 H2) Distinguished Fellows and Fellows. Following a rigorous nomination, screening, and evaluation process, 11 academic leaders from 9 countries around the globe stood out and were successfully elected as the new batch of IRIEM Fellows.
As a sister organization of IETI, IRIEM Fellow is a globally conferred honor. It recognizes scholars with outstanding research contributions in economics, management and interdisciplinary areas, who actively advance the international academic community, and stands as authoritative recognition of their academic standing and global influence.

Profile: Professor and Chair at the Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University, USA; Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Operations Management (UTD) and senior editor for several top-tier journals.
Reason for Election: Elected for his outstanding contributions to behavioral operations research, the research intersection of operations, technology, and psychology, and for advancing global operations and management science.
Alexandre Dolgui
